I have been working with Oracle as a DBA for the last 9 years. The main areas of imphasis has been to create Operating System scripts to help make the work more efficient to perform. Started out with DEC VMS, then moved to IBM AIX, and now Linux. The scripts would create the database, monitor the performance, and take backups.
