Abstract: This presentation examines the key architectural components of a successful Information Integration strategy. The architecture we will discuss addresses many of the problems organizations face today: A fractured, highly heterogeneous operating environment No integrated access to data Poor data quality and standardization Changes to the business model result in costly IT efforts or misaligned applications

To deliver consistent, reusable data we must deliver shared data services and data structures. Not only is this necessary for Business Intelligence, but it is central to an Enterprise Integration strategy. We will examine the keys to Information Integration success: Master Data Management Data Governance Standardized Data Quality Processes Data Services that can be Orchestrated and delivered with Functional Services

Finally we will look at Fusion Middleware, which conveniently has most of what we need to deploy an Information Integration architecture.
