| Abstract: | Cloning a production database that participates in Master-Master replication necessitates cleanup / removal of the production replication pieces. Oracle’s suggested solution was to tear down replication before making the clone. This was not acceptable in a 24x7 production environment. Ideally, we would like to use the replication packages to dismantle the leftover production replication master groups. To accomplish this, data in the repcat$_repschema table needs to be updated. This session will show how to cleanup a cloned database. |
