Provide guidance on the situations to use the various DW features.
Abstract: Today's data warehouses are ever increasing in size and complexity. To address these facts it is necessary to take advantage of the features that Oracle has provided us to optimize data warehouses. It is necessary to use these features as our data volumes grow in order to maintain performance. This presentation will focus on providing the audience with guidance about the features that you must use if you are planning any large data warehouse in addition these features are applicable to any large database.

The presentation will provide technical guidance on when and how to use features that include partitioning, compression, optimal indexes, data loading methods and advanced SQL techniques. This presentation will focus on the features included in Oracle 11g, but will ensure that all versions are addressed to ensure that everyone who attends may benefit.
