Abstract: | Oracle’s Enterprise User security provides user authentication to Oracle’s Internet Directory for 9i, 10g and 11g databases. Enterprise user can also provide automated user provisioning greatly reducing the administration tasks required to manage user access across all Oracle Databases within the enterprise. Combined with single sign on and integration with other directories, Enterprise User gives administrators a great method of managing user access within large environments. In this session the attendee will learn about the implementation of Enterprise User, automating user provisioning, and integrating OID with other directories. Based on a case study by the presenters, this session will go over the road blocks and hurdles found when implementing Oracle’s security tools in a complex environment. |
