Abstract: This presentation is designed to identify and discuss in depth, the various components of the Oracle 11g Real Application Cluster(RAC). The presentation will cover topics including the RAC architecture, storage options available, Automatic Storage Management configuration and implementation, tuning related metric collection queries and RAC specific wait events. A list of best practices at the hardware, OS and network level will also be identified. Enhancements of the 11g RAC features will also be presented.
