Objectives: Understand features of the Hyperion Interactive Reporting product now owned by Oracle.
Describe potential issues being faced by DBAs installing and implementing the Hyperion IR solution.
Report development and utlization issues from employees and how this affects management.
Abstract: Interactive Reporting promises to be a dream come true. This seminar is targeted towards DBAs and Managers whose organizations are looking to IR as an organizational management and support tool.

We will show some of the features available using the Hyperion Interactive Reporting environment. We will discuss advantages that can be realized by organization wide implementation and use of these tools.

We will also discuss difficulties often faced by DBAs in installing these solutions in various environments and what kinds of solutions may be available to surmount these obstacles.

Managers are also invited to attend as we will discuss difficulties encountered by organizations in gaining participation of employees in the report development process. We will also consider methods designed to support employee usage of the new reporting system.

Data security, access role issues, and other implementation topics will also be discussed from a strategic overview perspective.
